Bearing in mind that our members are from all over the globe (including Spain), Spain is on the green list for some countries, but not for others, and, it’s quite tricky to keep up – we’re leaving it up to you to work out!
Our job is to give members a glorious, sun-drenched tennis masterclass & tournament option for the month of May.
And what better option than in the heart of the Beverley Hills of Europe, with our friends at the Puente Romano Beach Resort.

So what’s the fun stuff?
Location: Puente Romano Beach Resort, Marbella, Spain.
Dates: Check in and out whenever you like, as long as you’re there for the tennis! For some, it’s a public holiday on Monday, followed by school vacations. We’ve also curated a genuinely super rate for you on the rooms at the resort – see below.
Tennis: Slide into the mornings (8:30am – 12:30pm) of Friday, 28 May and Saturday, 29 May on the sublime red clay courts at the Club de Tenis Puente Romano, once managed by tennis legend Bjorn Borg. We are looking forward to a friendly, competitive and enjoyable couple of days!
Lunch: Post play, a buffet lunch with drinks is included on both the Friday and Saturday.
Format: Warm up drills, followed by doubles and a little bit of singles in a tie-break tens format. Men and Women. If you want to rock up with your own favourite playing partner, do so! If not, we’ve got your back and will find another player as the right partner for you.
Tournament Director: Our ever-smiling former ATP pro and Spanish Ambassador, Francisco (“Pato”) Clavet will be on hand to make sure the tennis flows and those lines calls are solid!
Golf: Free 9-holes plus add on €30 for the full 18. Buggies are €35.
Ticket Price: €235 per player.
Optional Dinner: At the heart of the All Court Tennis Club is tennis mixed with fun, social gatherings. We invite those playing and their plus ones to a dinner at one of the resort’s fabulous restaurants and will provide details depending on level of interest.

What the ticket includes: Court time and tournament curated by Francisco, former ATP. No. 18, 2x lunch on Friday and Saturday, special member room rate, and special golfing rate.
Closest Airport: Malaga, about 35-40min away in a cab.
Weather: Well, we can’t promise anything, but we love our data and the past 5 years at this time in May yields a consistent spread of 24 degrees – 28 degrees.
We’ve stayed at the Puente Romano Beach Resort and played at the Puente Romano Tennis Club which is on site. It’s great. The beach or plaza restaurants are sublime and include the below favourites, everything is within a short walking distance either along the beach or through Mediterranean gardens and the resort houses a Six Sense Spa.
More Fun Facts:
The Puente Romano Tennis Club and tennis academy in Spain was inaugurated in 1979 under the management of tennis legend Bjorn Borg. He actually was married there! In 1983, Wimbledon Champion, Manolo Santana took over the Club’s Management until 1998. The Club and tennis academy in Spain is a RFET member, having hosted numerous and famous national and international tournaments. Boris Becker, John McEnroe, Serena Williams and Henri Leconte, among others, have participated in the Club’s tournaments.
Puente Romano is one of Europe’s most sought-after beach resorts.
